running ubuntu, finally ! ! !

After almost 8 years, i've installed again linux on my pc. Last time, if i remember well, it was red hat; today Ubuntu ! ! ! Sounds good, no?
I'll get back my OS lessons: kernel recompiling, system configuration....
right now i've just downloaded and set up some applications: wifi wpa client, chat clients. Next step: VPN client and Xgl!!
Next next step: mysql apache and php. Main scope of this installation? To see how to integrate C++ into a LAMP environment: LAMPC++. Let's see what will happen....
